A new study shows graduation rates in Ohio's public schools are higher than those in charter schools.

High schools around the state are facing a crucial dilemma as about a third of students are not on track to graduate.

Next year's Ohio high school seniors will be the first to choose their route to graduation - pass some state tests, take a college entrance exam or earn an industry credential.

A new U.S. Department of Education report says Ohio's overall high-school graduation rate of about 82 percent is even with the national average.
