A salvage company is halting for the year its search for treasure from an 1857 shipwreck off the coast of South Carolina.

The Ohio company owned by a fugitive treasure hunter is fighting to gain control over recently recovered gold from a ship that sank off the South Carolina coast in 1857. 

A federal judge has ordered the arrest of a second fugitive in a shipwreck salvaging case.
