Coming up this Sunday night at 9pm, David Dye is paid a visit by Swedish band Shout Out Louds on the World Cafe. The group, started by childhood friends Adam Olenius, Ted Malmros, and Carl von Arbin in 2001, is known for its energetic, ultra-melodic brand of indie-pop. We’ll be treated to four songs off the new album, and hear about the band’s unconventional marketing ploy for their song “Blue Ice,” which allowed fans to create their own record made of ice. Tune is for this special edition of the World Cafe, Sunday, August 11th at 9pm, on 90.5 FM!
